Description
It’s been over three years since my second collection of psychiatric tales saw the light of day. And the stories keep coming: the work continues, and colleagues have even started sharing some of their own experiences. Little by little, enough material for another book has accumulated. I still dream of a small island with a private clinic. Although, sometimes the thought pops up – maybe it would be better to get a job as a keeper of a very lonely lighthouse? But that thought is immediately banished in shame: how could I abandon my work! I’d start, out of boredom, treating seagulls for their squawking, cormorants for their constitutional stupidity, and the crews of passing submarines for claustrophobia… No, let’s not lower the bar, an island it is! Alright, heading off to my shift at my serious state institution, to earn money for my dream. Or to collect stories for a new book – whichever comes first.
