Description

This mystical novel is an allusion to how cheap and cruel family relationships can be. Nina was not very lucky with her husband, her daughter was difficult, and her mother did not support her either. But one day Madame came to her, straight from the other world. She had a bouquet of daffodils in her hands, and she immediately began to tell Nina some funny story from a brothel. Why she did this, Nina finds out only twenty years later. The novel has two plot lines: stories from the brothel and the story of Nina’s life. They are a refrain and emphasize the similarity of the everyday actions of well-bred people with the actions of those who work in the field of intimate services.
